Took a walk through the Long Beach Municipal Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in Long Beach. The most recent burial was surprisingly in 2019; in the Wardlow family plot. The cemetery is right next door to Sunnyside Cemetery but an entirely different graveyard separated by a chain-link fence. I am more of a visual storyteller so after the pics are a couple of links to good historical resources on The LB Municipal Cemetery, annual tours, and efforts to save the cemetery.
