Recently discovered that rock-n-roll legend Eddie Cochran’s grave was only a couple miles from my house so I had to stop by and pay him my respects. He is best known for his songs Summertime Blues, Everybody C’mon, and Twenty Flight Rock. While on tour in the UK he was involved in a terrible taxi cab accident and suffered major head injuries. He died in Bath England, Easter Sunday 1960. Rockabilly legend Gene Vincent was in the cab with Cochran and was also severely injured. Vincent went on to live with constant pain as a result. He died at 36 of a ruptured ulcer.
